Tanner Muse is a contemporary artist based in Oklahoma City. Working primarily in acrylic paint on canvas, Muse’s figurative paintings blend realism with abstraction and are often rooted in a strong sense of place. He began his artistic journey exploring Western themes that capture the lifestyle and aura of the American cowboy.  As his practice evolves he continues to expand beyond this foundation, embracing new subjects and narratives while maintaining his distinctive style which focuses heavily on the use of bold, vibrant colors.
